Is it normal when a business is asking for a "net 30" account with your company to ask them for references?I have a new business I'm starting which is going to require me to provide some retailers with a Net 30 account with us. I've created an online application for them to fill out and I'm wanting to ask for account references, or references of other Net 30 accounts they have so I can check their references just to see if they usually pay on time. Is this something that is typically done or does it piss retailers off?
